I had the same problem, needed shimming out to get it to run freely. My neighbour who restores cars for a living had a box of shims I could use, so sadly I can't help you as to where to get some. But it can be fixed!

I'm not quite sure about what "shimming out" means (I do not have all the technical vocabulary in English yet!), did you modify the length of the arm by removing some metal?

Did you put a shim on the axle to give a bit of space between it and the thrust?

Well I'm done with both side. Very nice to drive with fresh new cones and happy with the ride height
