My current (and first) project a 1991 cooper has, for some reason got the front seats from a Ford Lincoln in it and as these are a bit big I want to change them out. Getting original spec seats is impossible here so does anyone have ideas on something that would fit without too much fettling?

I used seats from a Fiat Seicento Sporting in mine. They're not heavy and are a lot more comfortable than the originals.

Took a bit of fettling to get them in with their original mountings, which I wanted, but it shouldn't be too difficult to mount them as the originals.

& from a MPI Sporting at that, much nicer looking than the others in the Sei range (with the possible exception of leather seats used on some Seicento LE cars) ;-)
