Hi All,

I have come across a small patch of rust bubbling on the underside of the drivers door. Does anyone know of a good product to treat/stop the spread of the rust? I can't get a new door or cut it out just yet!

Many Thanks,
Adam.

Wire wheel on a grinder to get to clean metal. Then apply rust converter. Then 24hrs later spray some etch primer on it.

Scabby door bottoms are caused by rust forming between the edge of the door skin and the frame in which it is folded around.

Anything you do to it now will only be temporary as you can only treat the external rust without cutting the skin off.

Basically as above, clean the visable rust back and paint it. That might give you a few months
