Hi,

Replaces clutch GCU90123AF + DAM5921 And did not mark anything... real problem for me....

I've read a lot about this topic but I don't understand how to check the TDC on the flywheel.

Where does the TDC point on the engine block see where?

On the crankshaft sensor?

At 12 o'clock?

At 18 o´clock?

Thank´s in advance

I think number 1 cylinder is tdc reference.

No need to worry as you can't stuff it up.

It all relates back to the clutch which has a single hole that matches a single stud on the flywheel.

You do need the correct clutch for this to work and it only bolts on one way.

The clutch pack has the same offset groove as the crankshaft so given the single position the clutch can only bolt to the flywheel and its preset groove it automatically aligns when assembled.

At the other end of the crank you align cam gear dot to dot and hey presto the timing is correct.

If using an after market cam you then dial in your cam to the desired setting.

The cam position lobe will automatically align with the sensor.

Make sure you have an injection cam for this build.

All Done.

How do I know this?

Just been through the exact same process so I'm speaking from first hand experience.

Good luck (you wont ned any) and Regards

Waz
