Hey there! not long ago I fixed some issues with my radio, and after rewiring it I forgot to plug back a red and green cable. I dont remember where it goes.

Symptoms:
Parking switch doesn't blink even though exterior indicators work in all positions, left, right and parking.
Foglamp switch doesnt light up when activated, either the foglamps.

Picture attached!

Green and red goes to the hazard light switch on my car.

If it’s green with red trace I’m pretty sure it goes to the hazard switch, it’s the bypass wire that overrides the indicators when hazards are switched on

Are you sure it was connected up before , my 84 has a single light green and orange cable that is for the tachometer on a 3 clock dash, not used on the 2 clock dash

Fog light wires are blue and yellow / orange and go to an inline fuse

If it is green with red trace it is left hand indicator circuit. This does connect to the hazard switch but from what you describe all that works fine.

If it is red with a green trace then it is sidelights. It could be intended as an illumination supply to your stereo, so it lights up when the lights are on. (I assume the side lights work OK?).

Nothing to do with fog lights - they use wires which are predominantly blue.

From the photo it does look like red/green rather than green/red.

Ok I double checked the spots, the connection was loose at the fusebox, they work now.
As for the cable, is there a possibility that this cable is meant for radio illumination? (Dimming radio when lights on?)

Cable is Red/green,   Red is more present than green on the cable.

Indeed! I still need to figure out if by hooking it to the stereo, the parking light switch bulb comes back.
Updates to come.

I doubt it.

By parking light - do you mean hazard warning (all 4 indicators)?

To get the light to work it needs connections to the small terminals on the side of the switch. Black to one side and Light Green & Pink to the other (which should piggyback off one of the main terminals in the plug)
