I see you are working with Autocad, if you have autocad raster design I believe you can convert an image to vector or DWG

I don't have any DWG files of a mini but if you find an image on the net you like I can convert it for you.

Just google classic mini line art and pick one.

Drop me a PM if you need help.

The vector graphics library that used to come with Corel Draw had a few Mini vector graphics. Sadly I don't have access to CD library any more...

I have some .stp, .iges and .stl-files on my PC that I secured from GrabCAD before BMW obviously intervened to withdraw the files. They do not have the rights of Leyland though so I put all my reverse-engineered designs under the Leyland label.

But the files are too large to attach here so if you want them I will put them on a cloud for you to download.

Interesting, what were the files of?

I don't think BMW would have any rights unless they actually produced them & can claim copyright.

Yes, BMW owns nearly all copyrights for Austin, Morris, Triumph etc, but not for Leyland (went to India as Ashok-Leyland) and MG (Chinese SAIC). From one day to the other all the disigns on Grabcad, which mainly were done by hobbyists like me, disappeared like bodies from Austin-Morris Minis, Minors, Triumphs of any kind. And of course now you cannot finde any designs with the BMW tag there. Other companies are not that rigorous as BMW. Same with the MINI-name on the internet where BMW made big trouble. A friend of mine used to have the mini-motorsport.de site for many years when he suddenly got mail from the solicitors of BMW not to use this name any more.

So, PM me if you want the files.

They can own copyright for their own drawings etc. but they don't have any claim on other's drawings, even if they are of bits of Minis.

If copyright was that powerful this wouldn't be a thing: https://en.wikipedia...iki/Trap_street
