Definitely worth having a dremel just for this.

I've been using Dremels for yonks. Only killed one in about 15 years. I use it mostly for small grinding and sanding jobs and with wire wheel attachments to clean rusty bits and bobs. The wire wheels don't last but have been invaluable for cleaning rust off nuts and bolts. I've also used it for routing small cavities for inlaying in wood. Brilliant bit of kit.

On my Christmas list, a great tool for cleaning up small areas and removing rus in awkward places.
