One of my favourite old British classic films 'Hell Drivers' (1957) is being shown on Talking Pictures TV today (Friday) at 5.50pm.

https://talkingpicturestv.co.uk/

Five of the actors who play supporting roles in this film became well known in the 1960s for their roles in film and television: Sean Connery (Dr. No (1962)), Patrick McGoohan (Danger Man (1964)) and The Prisoner (1967)), William Hartnell (Doctor Who (1963)), David McCallum (The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1964)) and Sidney James (the "Carry On" films).

Used to love the speeded up section where the trucks are in a hurry.

Love this film - but you forgot to mention the star Stanley Baker & Herbert Lom who played Gino?

Watched it this morning - quality! (seen it before)

Obviously poignant with the death of Sean Connery announced today - THE James Bond - period.

(IMHO and I'm sure others might argue for other JBs  - sorry but you're incorrect - Daniel Craig comes closest but still Sean Connery)
