Sais 998 next to his avatar.

Wouldn't it be the green they used on blocks? or would it have been matt finish enamel?

engine enamel comes in tins from you local motorfactors.

Yeh I am sure it was either bottle green, or Almond green!

Try the company "Somerford Mini" I recently purchased engine paint (it is enamel requiring no priming). They ask you for the year and model of your car over the phone, and then advise you on the correct colour. They are specific which is good!

BMC green comes in differenrt shades depending on the supplier, but considering Somerford Mini is a top restoring company for lots of customers I would feel confident in their coloyrs.

P.S, i dont work for them!!!

Ah, they are VERRRRRY good, they really do know their stuff, last time i checked how available they were for a full mini restoration (before i worked out i could do it myself) they said they'd love the project, but had a waitng list 2 years long before they could fit me in!

Also when i bought my first head gasket kit and stuff i told them it was the first time i'd done it, and they HAND DREW diagrams for me with hand written instructions and helpful tips on fitting, correct bolt order, all that stuff.

amazing company, one of the needles in the haystacks.
