apart from the obvious bulkhead box, is there anything else that needs to be done in the engine bay? for example marks mini had a bar fitted accross the engine and attached to the bodywork to stop it twisting. And also is engine steasy'S! a good idea?

when you put the bulkhead box in make sure you cut the corner of the crossmember aswell at an angle to give yourself enough clearence for the actuator and air intake pipe. it's the bit that's angled from the box towards the wiper motor in this pic.

Also it would be best to weld in a bracket for an ultimte steady as the standard mounting point for these get cut out. i use an adjustable top steady aswell to pitch the engine a little further forward to get some more air round the back of the turbo.

Other than that get ready for some fun :D
