Hi Again,

I'm planning on using the standard plastic arches on my mini after I respray it but am planning on spraying them the same colour as the car. What is the best way to go about this? The arches will no doubt be screwed in position but should they be sprayed before or after fitting and what should I do about the fixing screws. I thought about fixing the arches in position and then fillling in the screw recesses with filler and spraying over -is there a better option or a proper way to do it?

TIA,
spud.

Id fit them after the respray. Get the bodyshop to paint them at the same time, then they'll be the same colour as the car. You can fix them with rivets or screws, either will do. I wouldnt fill them over, how will you get them off if you ever need to?
