What did you do about the chrome inserts in the window rubbers? Can you get them in black or did you paint them?

I can have better pictures after the weekend probably (car is at the summer house right now).
But I'm going for a different style now.
Chrome mk1 moustache
Black mk1 grille
Rear clusters de-lensed (going to run red/orange bulbs, and only put the covers on in winter since not much rain here)
Black bumpers, handles, window strips
Chrome windscreen fillet, chrome fuel cap
Black Gp2 arches w/ chrome strip down the side
Will probably have a smoothie FG boot lid and a carbon bonnet so that'll tie in nicely with the colour theme.
Also roof will be painted black with white chequeres.

I've sprayed my grill black and I think it looks OK.
As you can see here!

I'm not too keen on the 10" looks to be honest. It looks and sounds like an OK idea but I'd go with 10" wheels!!!
Al
Plus, its a '93 Mayfair, so it's already got the 12"ers on.
Thanks for the comments everyone. It's nice to know i won't be turned away from any clubs/shows for not having chrome......
