Yo i no the principple of how a cam and cam folower works etc but what differant type of cams can you ge tand whats best for a 998?? i noticed in the for sale section blue mini is
selling one but its to big for a 998 why is this??

I have to agree with dklawson, its very difficult trying to understand what you're saying in these messages, just take a bit more time and make sure the spelling of vital words is right, we'll be able to help a lot more then!!!
Oh, and he's pretty much right with the cam's there, i've heard the Swiftune SW5 is pretty good for all applications.

I would go for a Kent 276 for the 998, excellent cam and very drivable too.

On a 998 the 1.3's are enough. On a 1275 1.5's. 1.7's are for big race engines.

To simplify it, the cam gives more lift and longer duration, giving the engine to get more fuel in over a long period and the same with getting the exhaust out. The rockers just give more lift, so those with the cam will be pretty good

higher ratio rockers also open the valve a little earlier and closes it a little later .

Depends where you buy them from and what make you go for. Best bet is to look at the prices in the mags.
