carbon fibre look!

Hi! i had a good idea! on my mini i have them silver dish things behing the handle so you dont scratch the paint with your keys. down the road (motor mania) sell this kinda vinyl its like fake carbon fibre if you get me.i think it would look good if i had that there instead of them chrome dishes what you think?

no that fake carbon fibre is awful! The bit that looks good about carbon fibre is how the weave looks when light hits it and you cant replicate that with vinyl

just my opinion but i definitely wudnt

i have to agree with rob. that vynal stuff is really bad. also it would not take long for the carbon look print to rub off, then you will just be left with a plack piece of vynal. there is no substitute for the real thing.

:D :D anwhere but near a car thats all im saying, real carbon is expensive, but lighter, cooler and great for anyone that wants to race minis, dont know if im right but isnt carbon fibre a third lighter thtn other metals used to build cars?
