There is no fliud in the suspension of the vast majority of Minis, except the shock oil. And as DK says unless the shocks have somehow seized or are the wrong ones for the car they have no effect on ride height whatsoever.

ahhhhh...thats why we love minis...they are all haunted. sometimes they need a little help after they have been jacked up.....like sitting on the wings to get the suspension back in whack!!
