I have been working on modeling up the Mini Sport 4 pots. This is totally acurate but you can gather what they are. Hopfully by the end of today I shall have the discs and drive flanges done too.

Iv used Solidworks to do these. The problem I have with doing an engine is bringing it into my office with no one noticing. I am though bringing my computer home in around a month so might be able to do it then. Doing the engine engine would be really usefull for using Finite Element Analysis to figure all the forces taking place.

I think my computer would blow up trying to work out all the forces at work when an engine is running! In fact I think my computer would die a horrible death just trying to display an engine with every nut and bolt modeled and constrained! :)

Anyone want to lend me a farm of workstations?

Your modeling is really nice, by the way, some shapes I'd struggle to work out how to model! Spose its all practise and experience though.

I had exactly the same problem with the calipers jammy, they are actually different from my model as I couldn't quite get the right form. its good fun though.
