What are the best or decent tyres?
Are Falkens good?
I need a desent set for the italian job, not too expensive though.
Oh and if you know what size should they be? 165/60/12? or 145/70/12?
Cheers,
Charlie

Always go for 165's over 145's!!
The 145's are far too skinny, and will never be as grippy as 165's
Falkens are ok, but I'd go for a set of yoko A539  s

agreed with that iv driven both, though i dont think the A539's are worth the money unless using the car for trackdays alot. The FK-06Gs are a better than average fast raod tyre! they dont wear quite as fast at the Yoks and are grippy enough to have some fun! the only down side that io have found is they are a little sketch in the wet, though this might just be my suspension set up atm!
i also ahve 4.5 wide wheels and the 165s fit just, though i have found advantages of the overlap on the rim to protect your rims from curbing and to have a little flex in the tyre whihc stops the car from being so snappy and thefore more predictable

Cheers guys, I think im going for the Falkens as they are for the Italian Job so an all round good tyre is what I need, and there not a bad price.
I only driven on Pirellies, so are Falkens better, I thought the Pirellies were good???

My Dad had Pirelli P Zero's on his Scoob, and they were awful.
It now grips much better with the Avon ZZ3's
But yes, on a mini, 165's are the way to go with 10 + 12" tyres.
