I am thinking more along the lines of 6 x 10 minilites, maybe polished rims and anthracite or black centres, maybe shod with some Yokos. And yeah, maybe the group 2 wides.

Like this (Oldskool baby's old Thirty), hope you don't mind me using the picture Brett:

Yeah, that is the only problem really. It has been cut. I was considering retaining the arches and just going for 6 x 10s to see how it looks????? :w00t:

hmmm tough choice I now I suppose, I like the 30 but I would have gone for slightly wider arches. Not much tho.

if you lower it enough will it sill look silly with cut wings and big arches? or you could just get that replacment pannel that brings it back to the normal place

I could do with borrowing some wheels, to see what it's like really.

I know of a set of Cooper S hubs, disks and calipers that will be cheap as chips for me to buy. But I would like to go for alloy 4 pots with 7.9" vented disks if they fit under the wheels. I'd have to ask the suppliers I guess.

Update:

Been to pick it up with a trailer. But I couldn't get to a post office in time to tax it, so I gotta wait til Monday now! :P

Took it for a quick drive on the industrial estate where I work though and it's surprisingly swift!

more soon!
