I haven't seen anyone fit one, and i think its because they are heavy engines and don't produce as much power as similar spec engines from different manufacturers.

Focus ST 5 pot would be a nice build, it's a very tuneable engine apparently.

focus st lump is a volvo 5 cylinder lump!! yes very tunable but heavy as ur average tank in 20 layers of external armour plating!!

best ford lumps are the ones yamaha helped develop!! think its the 1.25 and the 1.7 lumps (fiesta and pump) light decent power and very tunable! i know stuart mead had a ford lump but im unsure which it is!! im thinking its a 1.9 cvh block from south africa with a zetec head!! could be wrong tho!! havent seen him for a while!!

Yep, as said above. I am fairly sure it started off life as an Escort RST CVH setup, only with a bigger block (1.9L). Then it had a Zetec head slapped on it at some point.

Don't quote me on that though!

its an engineering project. i doubt it will even be used on the roads (legally) it kind looks stupid with the wide track at the rear and small at the front. as it is a project, it has been done on the cheap, so they just used any engine they could get.

i don't know whether you can see it in the pics but they have used the subframe from the mondeo.apparently it has been run and tested but i wasn't there to see it.
