If your subframe is original or has been replaced with genuine it should have holes already there. Thats why this back box comes with this sort of mount. Do mount it with rubber 'cotton reel' type mounts (or something similar) because you will get loads of nasty drumming noise off the silensor.

I've got a centre exit rc40, we had to drill the subframe and the RC40 fitting kit includes 2 rubber mount things. Cant hear any vibrations from the box.

You line it up. Drill the holes. The rubber mounts are simply two fat rubber washers that fit in between your exhaust bracket and the subframe. You will need two nuts and bolts to fix each side of the bracket to the subframe. The rubber mounts absorb vibration and stop the bracket from snapping and git rid of horrible noises.

To avoid confusion
That's two nut and bolts in total, not per side.

You could use tape instead. Do it hardcore-style.

when fitting mine, i had to goto work before we cud drill the subframe, so we tied it round with metal rope. all was fine until i left it behind when i hit a slight bump in road.

Mount it proper.
