We once had an Astra rad (and on another occasion, a metro rad), in the front of one of our minis. Kept it mega cool, but prooved to unreliable, as if you have a crash- it's the first thing to get hit!

isnt that better than snapping the dizzy off?

mad max has front mounted metro rad. the fans are from a different vehicle from the scrappy, any thin one will do then an internal switch

the onlything u might have to make is some brackets to fit it

So Tongham, you think something counts as unreliable if it breaks when you crash the car?

Have you tried to not crash the car into things? It is much cheaper that way, and you can get where you're going quicker.

Yes, if you have a bit of a shunt, instead of just pulling it out in the pits, you have a :P rad and thats it for the day.

It was too close to the front for racing.

With our 4 core rad and matrix it keeps it nice and cool, and it's one less thing to go wrong.

And yes, the car is still square, and strong- and the season is almost over. But if you knew anything about motorsport, you would know accidents happen- whether it is a bananaser in a nova punting you off, or hitting the barrier on your own.
