I've watched the builder video, but I wondered: Once the rear subframe is fitted, if one had to replace or pull the engine for any reason, how would that be done?
There doesn't appear to be enough room through the rear window for it, would you drop it from below?
Thanks in advance,
Chris

As far as I know it can only go forward, so remove seats and bulkhead and take it out of the door

As David says seats out, bulkhead, pipes, chain and wireing then six bolts holding the engine and just pull it forward on to the floor.

Think David's right.
Unless you own a pickup and then you just lift it straight up

you aree right in thinking it comes out through the front, this takes a couple of hours to remove the seats and front of bulkhead then remove water pipes throttle cable etc unbolt all mounting bolts and pull out forwards into passenger side once in there it can be lifted out over door bar easily or if you want unbolt door bar to give even more roomTo wide to come out the bottom Dale

the v tec actually drops out from underneath just undo all four engine mountings remove exhaust manifold all water pipes and throttle cable fuel lines etc
then lift whole car up almost like the reverse of the fitting process but leaving the roll cageetc still in the car you are left with engine and box complete laid on the floor and you can then do whast you want with it
