Methinks 2006 will be known as the year of the orange mini!

Snap!

Talk about a non-common colour... :'(

To think when I decided to do it, hardly anyone was thinking about going orange....

I think it was more a case of quite a number of people were going to go with orange, in fact I have some renders from back in late '04, but most people were keeping quiet hoping no one else had the same idea! :X

Sounds good fun.... and 'Mr sheen' is a great cleaner for satin paints according to the bikers lol!

I would seriously sit down and think about what you're doing coloiur scheme wise, If you ever have to sell your mini, how many people will want that luminescent paint job?... it may well de-value the car :genius:

but i'm not gonna sit here and tell you what to do on your car lol, I think it's a cracking idea though mate and I say if you like it, go for it. :w00t:

yeh only problem with "a certian" companies wheel is the Chrome peels off...

Personally I'm not a fan of Chrome wheels, but you say black?

IMHO, I think too much black will ruin the car!

I mean, Black body n roof, Black tyres, and black rims, the wheels will be hidden!

Why not follow the them of Black and orange onto them? Paint the rim orange, and maybe pin strip the edges of the "blades" to highlight the edge, and have the wheels Glossy black...?

Yea good idea Dog it sound nice. I might go with an orrange roof instead of Black as it will add a bit more life in to the mini lol not that a mini doesnt have enough as it is lol.
