well heres a bit more info (if anyones interested!) , i have built a couple of kit cars in the past (an m.k Indy 7 replica and a ac cobra replica) well i was happy with the cobra until i went to stonleigh kit car show a couple of years ago with my dad, and a certain Mr Allanson was there making a debut with his kit, my dad and i were well impressed , the following weekend my dad went up to chris's, had a test drive and ordered a kit!
over the next year i followed my dads build with great interest, helping with the wiring etc.
When september came i went to Donnington kit car show , by which time i had got to know chris after numerous trips up to his place with my dad, anyway chris was there at the show with the newer version of his kit, and was doing test laps for potential customers/thrillseekers. So in i got for a lap around Donnington park..... well i was gobsmacked!! i got out the car and told chris "im going to put a for sale sign in my cobra"!
To cut this long story short i sold my car and ordered a kit at the autosport show last january. :w00t:

The r1 mini was a m reg mini with only 16k onth clock it stays on the origional plate. R1 full time build in the projects.
The monte carlo is going on a new plate. You might see it at the autosports.
