after watching 5 gear where they roll a range rover i was wondering how easy a mini would roll.

when a jaguar followed the lead car and it braked the jag steered left to dodge then right and it just skidded but when the range rover did it at a lower speed it rolled.

so how easy would a mini roll.

cheers

It's not easy. Especially on 10"s or 12"s and decent suspension.

I've seen quite a lot go over!

Not with normal type driving though!

i've done it!
did it in my first road mini while on my way to work, just had new yokos on that weekend. Anyway combination of wet road, diesel, a rather large kurbstone and sliding on roof for about 50 yards and mini was no more. Then to top it off the insurance argued the toss about the £1000 agreed value insurance. In the end after a two year battle we got just £250 after the excesses.

any car can be flipped
you just have to get to a high enough speed then, simultaneously crank the wheel as far as you can and hit the brakes as hard as you can.

Not so hard when you have plenty of grip! Never roll this time.
