OK so on saturday morning we leave Cornwall about 7:45 am we aimed to get to Swindon to meet Cowboy and Sunshine (Barry and Terri) at around lunchtime, so after an ok motorway drive we get to junction 16 and i text minimadjonesy to let him know we are close by and we plan to meet at the pub where im meeting barry and terri, anyway as is what is becoming a tradition on my mini expeditions "without mini" we went totally the opposite way and got lost, hmmm not good.. so we made our way to toys r us... hmm how lucky were we!! and bary foned shortly after to let us know we had gone the wrong way and guided us back to where we should have been. We all met up at the pub and Minimadjonesy sold me some very sexy wheels, of which i will post later.... then he dashed off we got food and made our way to the campsite.. 1 thing i must tell every1 it is difficult to keep up with minis around city traffic :saywhat: they just kept nipping in all the gaps no fair.. we had a little fun with our walky talkies along the way and made the campsite in good time.....
we set up the club gazebo in the wind, and then the unthinkable happened... IT TOOK OFF it smashed a few parts but luckily there are spares so it can be repaired in due time.... we all set up our tents and started bbq'in and drinking,

we were waiting on Woody and his crew and also Charlie Brown
Eventually Charles made it but he forgot his tent!!! HAHAHA :fear: luckily Barry had one spare. Then we all started sitting down, and i decided to go bed because it was getting late and we had an early start, thats when woody arrived.
About an hour later the wind started to pick up and it kept pulling pegs out the tent. Eventually the wind picked up so much it tried lifting the tent with us in it, so we decided to prevent any damage that we would take it down and sleep in the car for the night.... it wasnt that bad
Morning came and we were awoken at 6:30am, i wasnt aware there was such a time. we all got packed up and set off to the show!
ME and nicola went to the public entrance gate and got stuck in a massive cue, lcukily that was the wrong one and we were allowed in early with the club so we wondered passed all the queued up minis waiting to get in.. we set up the minis and waited for a few more people to arrive,

Especially this very nice estate it has been very carefully done and looks absolutely superb
Detailing is incredible
this very nice estate caught my eye
LOTUS ELISE TWIN CAM MINI
Pink mini with a whole lot of chrome right up Nicolas street
WHATS THAT?
Alex1380's mini on the rollers. unfortunately there is no pic to show how scared he is
who can guess the famous person sat in charlies car, he took it for an autotest as we all watched in ore as he equalled the fastest time set by the presenter bloke
THis is a very nice car and we were priviledged to have it on the stand
Those Binis are very heavy to one side.. RUSS
The biggest part of the whole weekend for me was taking part in the Calvacade as it was on the countries leading race track in the countries most loved mini, it all just made so much sense and about 500 other mini owners would have to agree with me that on the day this had to have been the most fun had by all in a very long time!!
A whole lot of minis!!!
Guess who in the car he restored himself !!
I think this is a really cool picture
On the calvacade the crowd went wild
we thought we would get on the curb to see what it was like and it turned out it was quite a bouncy ride
Hmmmmmm..... now i will let Charles tell you about this picture
I jumped out the mini whilst all the minis had stopped to take a pic, luckily i didnt get in trouble because i wasnt the only one!!
Guess WHOOOO
We left the site around 5:30 and headed home, we got some food from Maccers and headed onto the M4 where it go very dark and wet and windy, it wasnt very pleasent driving and luckily i was in a modern car so my heart goes out to the people driving minis in that weather!! We overtook a few of the Tamar Valley Mini Club outside Bristol on the M5 and then met them at the KFC, real nice people!
Then it was off home for a very quiet drive down the A30 and we got in around midnight so all in all it was a very good weekend and i really really enjoyed it what about you all?

had great fun, wanted 2 buy a mini but due to unwilling parents it was a no go,
even tho it was a long weekend and very tiring, it was great seein so many minis and TMF members again plus meetin new 1's...

Yeah agree with you about the weather..... it seems like we had better weather than Cornwall did!!! It was noticed the closer we got to it!!!
Lucky you getting home at midnight I got home between 1.00 and 1.30. Extremely tiring!!!!
