Well guys this is my baby
a 1979 Pickup
850 was seized, metro engine (non turbo fitted) 1293 or 1275 one or the other ;)
hopefully i'll have it on the road for when i pass my test, still only 16 :) got to wait until june until i turn 17 :proud:

does anyone know what the arches are?

arches
12inch revos
mirrors are coming off
big jap spoiler woth 11 inches cut out of it
debumpered
cab extended into loading bay
hi los
koni shocks on rear, soon to be on front aswell
smoothed tailgate
fuel filler relocated
rear lights removed and flush panel in replacement
saxo dash
those exhauts are no longer fitted, they didnt go on as i expected

saxo dash - i was gonna buy the one jordie got, i emailed the guy and found jordie had just got it, not to let that get to me i started a one from scratch. 2 words - never again lol

Grrr, i really want a pick-up now. Yours is going to be a stunner mate. Silly question, where is the fuel tank/filler neck going?

where the cab has been stretched, cap is there and tank is in usual place. im thinkin about a stainless one in the loading bay

Sweet project. Is that the big jap spoiler? or is there a bigger GT style wing to come...silly question but i'm interested.

cooor,if that was mine i'd respray it almond green (or some other vague retro colour) put some reverse rims on it with chrome caps.. and make a 60's-early 709's-esque looking racer pickup outta it with period mods...

Looks a stunner mate... interesting exhaust... will more than likely hamper your power though if using an A-series

There's some real vision in this pickup mate... hmmm i like it. muchos potentialos

What arches are those?

I'm kinda glad you took the exharsts off... it really didn't suit the Pickup!

But rock on pickups! I really wish I never sold my old one!

VERY nice i like it a lot, This is what i wanted my space framed mini to look like. Just a TAD wider

looks sexual, whats going on with the rear lights, going to be some strange ones in there?
