Hey guys, joining this forum as I'm looking for advice.

I have a 1991 Studio 2 Mini, 46,000 miles and in good condition due to it having only two ladie owners that seemed to look after it well.

I have it through the garage and alot of work done to it, all new pipes (i.e. top hose) fan belts, Angel headlamps fitted, new brake pads, carb timing corrected and cleaned, new A Panels and more.

My next job is to get my 12 X 6 Deep Dish Superlites and some arches.

Anybody have any good ideas what arches to have with these alloys?

Also can anybody clarafy if I need to have any work done to my arches with these alloys, my local Mini garage assured me I dont but i'm not sure.

Im also looking at having some grey/silver bonnet stripes added with a UK grey and black flag for the roof which i've seen but im currently having problems finding them.

I also have some work to do like fit my door cards which I bought at a mini fair but im a bit scared to cut the holes for my chrome handels and I cant seem to find the door card clips anywhere.

Future work I'm wanting to have done includes chrome work i.e. door handels, bumpers etc and a new grille would replace the bent one nicely.

Anyway, emnough of my rambling and I hope i get some response.

You'll proabably see alot of my posts around from now on, so look out!

Welcome to the site!!

Nice mini but could definately do with some nice alloys!

We have a few experts on the site and im sure they will give you the answers you need.

It would be better if you post your questions in the technical section of the forum as thats where the Mini Doc's live.

Charlie

Nah, I reckon a black mini with chrome features looks smart and will also match the silver colour of my alloys.

Stage one kit will put you insurance up, I was told by 25% but it depends who your insured with.

Some companies want to know that you have put alloys on as it makes the car more appeling to theives.

Best thing it to check with your insurer.
