You won't find anything other than an A series that will fit without modification. You can fuel inject an A series engine, but to fit anything else you're going to need a custom subframe and driveshafts, suspension etc.

The ONLY thing I can thing of is to PM Scurvy Dog about the adpater plates he has, that allow you to fit a Xflow/Lotus twin cam engine onto mini gearbox. Anything else, as said above, will require you to get a welder out.

Not too sure but you might get the 8v Vauxhall engine in with little mods. Allspeed do a frame.
Look at www.16vminiclub.com for details

I don't think you need to do modifications for a MK1 Swift engine, and you can buy the frame from the 16vminishop.

what about a mini engine ans 7 port head with injection?? that works a lot better than a standard 5 port head, when running injection on a mini engine there are lots of complications with the injector timing because of the shared inlet ports, i think even rover had to make a new ecu and even patented it because it was so advanced at the time.

for more information about injection have a look on the emerald website, he does give some information about the a-series lump on his sprite conversion.

A-Series Injection

Depends how much of the bits you make and do yourself, could be a few hundred up to a couple thousand.

i recommend that you do a bit of reading on the 16mini club forum (http://www.16vminicl...orums/index.php). you will get a idea of the cost and work involved.
