can you use an automatic front subframe on a rwd r1 engined mini

It would still require as much fabrication as if you use a manual front subframe. The automatic mini subframe is just about 20mm wider between the engine mounts. All the rest of the frame is exactly the same.

the fabrication is no problem its just that i have a automatic subframe and it will save me a fair few euros if i can use that rather than buy a new one cheers

Hello,
On the automatic subframe I had, the lip below the driveshaft openings had been cut off, so you will need to add some metal back in here for the Zcars tank to sit and bolt on to
