hi i've just been give a body roller (the type you fasten to the bumpers so you can lift and roll the body over) has anyone ever used one of these on a mini ? i know your supposed to use the bumper mounting points but there not all that strong on a mini and i'm a little worried about bending/breaking something.

as you say the bumper lip aint going to be strong enough....

I've never seen one which attaches to the bumper so can't comment on the practicalities of where to fit it, the ones i've seen have attached to the wheel hubs, and also the good old fashioned spit roast ( waits for bunlge or Jammy ) technique of a pole through the middle...

Spit roast is always good fun! :D

I think I've seen a couple that somehow bolt to the bulkhead and maybe the parcel shelf?!

Could you make some brackets to bolt to the bulkhead crossmember and the the rear seat belt holes or something?

hmmm it would be nice to use it without having to take the engine out. i wanted to use it on my clubby estate i was thinking of removing the back doors and using the holes for the hinges on the back.
