Now that I’m near retirement I’m buying my last car a 1991 JDM MINI 1000. Classic black with a white roof. 45000 kms only. My love for MINIS never left me

Well, I have been told by the guy I bought it off that it is a 1975 mini clubman with a 1100 motor and the paint code is "hairy lime" hence my "handle".It is a "project" car for me and my family, and we hope to put it on club rego.

This is my first Mini 'Elsie'. This photo is from our European road trip through the Austrian Alps.
Now we're back in the UK I'm giving her a bit of TLC to get her up to scratch (engine swap and body work like new sills and floor cross member etc).

Don't drive it at the minute as I'm part way through the restoration of my 1987 rover mini but can't wait for that first drive when it is done

Hi, I have;

mini 40LE Island Blue which Have had since new. (mods, solid mount front subframe, high ratio rockers, fly off hand brake, RC40).

Cooper Monte Carlo Red, no moods completely original.

a 1977 1275GT Java Green, build for Historic Road Rally. Richard 1293 SPI block & Box, longman GT14 head, twin 11/4, manifold LCB + single box RC40, Oil cooler, RAC sump guard, Alleybars original Alloy 6 point cage, Rover 220 front seats + TRS harness, twin tanks, facet fuel pump, all pipework internal to car.

I also look after my sons 1985 Mayfair Sport Silver, runs 1275 A+.

I have been driving minis since I was a learner back in 1982.
