I really like the look of my car without its bonnet badge, but tom told me on irc that if I do take it off instead of just painting the filler that fills the holes left by the badge I'd have to have the whole bonnet repsprayed

How much would it cost to respray my bonnet?

I also think I'm going to do this with my boot...

So how much would it cost to repsrpay my boot?

Many thanks

I had a brand new bonnet with the black coating on it and had it sprayed in two pack black with two white bonnet stripes and it cost £60 at a body repair centre. But phone around for quotes as i did ,i had some as high as £170 for it so look around so good luck.

when you fill the holes in get someone to weld them up first because after a while the filler will crack and then it looks a mess. Just weld the holes up, grind them flat and then skim with filler. As for spraying, if you know the paint code then go along to an autopaint shop and get them to mix an aerosol up, it will cost you about a tenner but you will get a brilliant finish and very good match with it.

The paint code should be on the little plate in the front left of your engine bay, along with your VIN number.

its not that hard spraying to be honest! i though it was something that only a special few people could do to ge ta good finish any way, i prooved my self rong though i find if you heat the paint up so its sorta warm it goes on better! then when its all done T-cut the surrounding area and blend it in! nothing to it realy
