not sure whther to ask this in here but i assume more people in here are using coilovers than on the mini part of the forum.

basically i need a C spanner for my gaz coilovers for the spring cups. what size do i want?

ive found two available sizes on demon-tweeks HERE but i dont think they will fit. i have measured the OD of my front springs to be 2.65" and the rear springs are smaller, about 2.3" but the springs cups are the same.

does anyone know what size spanner i want and where to get one from?

Coil springs are measured internally, so it sounds as though you have 1.9s on the back and 2.25s on the front, but since the spring cups are the same, probably the larger of the C spanners should do it, might be worth talking to a company who supply gaz coil overs for the mini just to confirm, they will probably sell the correct spanner as well, I know Hudersfield Minis sell gaz coilovers

cool, yeah i bought them from huddersfield i might give them a ring, just thought it might be the sort of thing i could get at halfords or the local tool shop today.
