theres a programme on discovery home and leisure called overhaulin, a guy called chip foose restores peoples cars to how they would like it, but the owner thinks his car has been stolen whilst they do it, only to surprise them at the end. IMO they do a great job . unlike pimp my ride (the changing rooms for cars)

i would like him to do my mini van,im sure he'd come up with some great ideas.overhaulin lot better than pimp my ride.the work they carry out is lot more professional and less tacky.last thing i'd want in the back is a hot tub!.more like snap on tools and hidden ice.

Overhaulin' is good .. But it's almost 95% more cheesy than Pimp My Ride ..

I still prefer Pimp My Ride ..

It's on discovery realtime at 5pm and midnight each day (not sure about weekends)

Just checked and it's only Monday to Friday.

I think it's amazing what they can do to those cars in 7 days...I wish I could rebuild my car that quickly !

I think that I saw an episode last Sunday at 9pm where they rebuilt a car and stuck a 502 = 8.3 litres...they never do that on PMR !

Foose does some amazing things. I love the way he slams out a concept drawing. He huges wheels on classic American muscle cars are a little over the top for my taste though. I've met him at Road Atlanta and he seems be be a great guy. His real car art are in his custom builds (the ones that take a year, not a week).
