Maniflow rolled side exit, nice deep purr, pops on de-celeration, not greatly loud, but has set car alarms off in the past! Don't like DTM upswept much either, no offence but it is standard issue with boy racers with their astras and also they sit very low on an already low mini!

i agree with the dtm being low, but it does sound so nice. but i have been toying with the idea of fitting a single upswept pipe (maybe 3") with a rolled lip.

i dont like the centre exit DTM because 1. its too big, 2. its a boy racer add on, 3. Its ugly

You interested in selling it?

I think they look ugly too, thats why I'm getting rid of mine! They sound tinney and cover the back of your car in exaust splatters because the flow of air over the car kinda swirls around in that area.

I personnaly like side exit with a roled lip, but each to their own.

I'm selling mine to. £50 have it off the car in less than 10mins.
i had to make a stronger bracket for mine as the oringal broke. so its now made of of aircraft grade steel.

side exit, resonable bore RC40 with outward rolled ends is what im getting to replace the DTM. I totally agree with bluemini, my cars had nothing but black splatters all over the rear of the car from exhaust.

I am still a bit confused with exhausts, I have a cat, so can I get a pipe going from that to the backbox? Or do I need a new link pipe aswell? :nugget:

The best side exit I've seen, and just happen to have one on Schmoo, is a Maniflow, you can actually get them quite tight up into the subframe, and they doo sound sweet... I have the 1 7/8th's variety but I believe that go from 1 3/4 up.

Can't seem to find a photo of it at the mo...
