are you putting your car through sva? if you are then the sensor magnets needs to mounted on the rear axle as the speed test is is done on the rollers, with the driven wheels.

Do you have to keep posting things like this . Fitted Andy's on the front wheel so now you've got me worried again . Will have to check what Leighton Buzzard have.
I HATE sva and all the stupid rules that no one understands. Think i'll stick to normal cars

was just thinking why would he waste time getting a fan out (and waste my petrol after all it had a big v8 in it!) if they had auto rollers?
i am just hoping i can help people, at least they can check with there individual test centres
the next round is on me!! (for undue stressed caused)

There is a big bike chain linking the rollers with a tensioner so the rollers can move to suit the length. On most rwd they will just use the front set of rollers and chock the front wheels. But on 4wd or our minis they will use all 4 rollers and put ratchet straps on to tie it down.Feel guilty now sorry guys! just remember when i took cobra for sva last year he plonked the rear wheels in and drove it up to 70mph through the gears, he even put a big fan in front of car to keep it cool.

He uses a spirit level or straight edge vertically on the wheels. And at the top it must hit the arch first.
Don't forget you need side repeaters also. And remember to put a fuel neck restricter so you can only insert a unleaded nozzle.
If using a digi dash or what ever set the speedo to read 5-10 mph faster. So when doing 25 mph it reads 30.
