got me car home this morning, needs a new rad as its leaking and could hear some knocking noises which i suspect is the ball joint, but it made it home in one peice!

ROCK ON!! lol thats a great project! i love old nakerd looking minis because they have soo much potenshal to be great! you can make it exactly how u want it!! its brill! and there wont be another car on the road like yours! is one of a kind and special! thats how i see it! keep us up to date! what rust are you going to get rid of 1st??

the smart car is a courtasy car from the insurance while there fixing out 106 :angry:

ok a little update, iv polished the roof, and the left side of the car, iv re prayed the bonnet and iv ordered a radiator, a set of chrome bumpers, and a badge for the bonnet...

i know what u mean, but im working round the car , because its in the garage and tight to one wall so i can onlyu work on the left side and front only, and when i was sorting out the bumper and all that thats the way in which it came round

very similar to my project city e when i bought it a year ago for £75, from a humble slightly rusty white 1989 mini city e, in a year my car hs become this:

£50, spot on me old mate. Tied to find a similar priced car to start my project, but in the end Payed £450, and it wasn't in as good condition as your old girl. Only good thing was I sold most of here off to make back the £480, to be left with the shell which was all I needed.

Is it taxed ? Mot ?

yup tax till end of november, and mot, but it runs out at the end of the month
