Why do you turbo geezas always ditch the steel/banjo oil feed line to the turbo when you fit one to a Mini? Never done one myself and just always wondered why this needs to be done. Does it hit something or is it just impossible to get in?
Why?

I "think" i may have my wires crossed, but its because the top engine steady and the oil feed clash, i kow its common to get a braided oil feed because the standard ones often perish, then again i may have this wrong again LOL.

The top engine steady does indeed foul the standard metal oil feed, the braided pipes can be routed around this.
