ok ive been into the paint shop and had a quote to do the hole front from the A pannel on the drivers side all the way round to the passenger side door and this includes the window beening taken out and the rust being sorted around the window bit also. the quote was £400 good or not?? you views would be most helpful

Yep that's about right... But ask them what they mean when they say 'We'll sort the rust', Make sure they replace metal with metal with metal, not filler.
