The ones Mini Sport sell are Securon belts. These are just about the only aftermarket belts you can get now which is a right pain as in my experience they're rubbish. They look pretty ugly with that huge double switch buckle that they're so proud of (which they only make so that they don't have to make two different buckles), and they simply don't last. I have fitted a few of these to my cars and never had one last more than two years as a daily driver.
The last time I had to fit a belt to my Checkmate (which I may have mentioned was my favorite car of all time) I bought a new Rover one. About £80 quid which is a lot more than the Securon ones but it lasted at least 'till I sold the car, and who knows how much longer.

how much are they?
but then again that might ruin the classic theme of the car (with a few alloy add ons)
