Is there any difference in the head gasket between an injection and carb?

Nope, no difference.
But make sure you buy genuine parts. That is the only advice.
Payen BK450 has been the standard factory fit for years. The turbo guys swear by them.
Or you could also use the Payen AF460, also known as the 'Copper' head gasket. Used to be the performance standard for decades, untill the BK450 came along.
Either are good to go.
Avoid anything else like the plague.
