How have you guys lockeing the chain link pins on? is there a special tool for peening over the edge?

I tried to do mine in place, with a steel block behind and a blunt punch. I was not happy with the result so I took it off and did it on the bench. Not the easiest of tasks. I don't know of a special tool or if you can use a split link.

Nice 1 for that koss. bloody hell bit pricey though. yeah think im going to to mine on the press at work.

Was it a bit of an arse to get the chain on after?

Tis a bit expensive just for one go. If you look at the original pins in the chain, you will note that they only have top and bottom of the pin peened over. This is all you need as the load is lateral and not sideways. To put the chain back on is a pain. I removed the rear sprocket half's then inserted half at the front and rotated it towards the rear. Then insert the front and bolt it up. If that makes any sense :thumbsup:
Be careful on the width of the link, set it the same as the rest not squashing the O rings.
