Hey all, i bought a de-cat pipe this year, and was going to fit it after my car had gone through its MOT but i wasn't sure weather to 'gasket' where the pipe joins the 2 ends?

If i have to, what is best to use?? cut one out out of some sort of gasket paper, or try and get hold of one?

you will need a gasket in there, otherwise she will blow, where you got the pipe from should have the gasket aswell

Paper gaskets won't last long in an exhaust system. Most exhaust parts come with metal gaskets, and the Mini cat flange gasket is part no. GEX7761 from all Mini decent suppliers. But as Cowboy says, the new pipe should really have come with a pair of them so try asking the supplier to send you some.
