Hey folks,

Tried the search, but it didnt work.

Has anyone fitted an engine steady to their MPI?

Is this the correct one:

Looks to be the right one, and should fit in a similar maner to the SPi, Dev may be able to confirm this. There is another topic about these for the SPi and i said id take some pictures of mine installed. Havent yet but i will.

I've had a look at an MPi today, some of the pipes are a little different but there is no reason why it shouldnt be very different from the SPi

Hope that helps

Best picture I could take of it

Yeah that appears to be the right one to me.

as sprocket said though its a case of weaving throught the cables and pipes to fit.

mine is particulary crowded in there.

Yooo.

Just finished fitting my engine steady yesterday
Its available from http://www.avonbar.co.uk .
Basically fits every mini pretty nicely.
Only took about an hour an a bit to fit it, with help for the bulkhead bolts
I'd recommend it to be honest!
Although i think my gearbox needs a new steady to.
