Use to have clear lenses on the back, but put the stage 1 kit on and the vibration blew up the red bulbs, we searched everywhere for red bulbs so we could use the clear lenses again, but had no luck so we had to put the old ones back on. Any clue where to get red bulbs from?

Not sure of he number, have a look in a mag, or on their site. Should be about a quid each.

I make my own, just go along to one of those hobby places and buy some red glass paint, then put some tape over the bulb and dip it (just the glass) in the pot, then leave for 5 minutes and do it again. Don't do too many coats or the paint will be so thick you're bulbs will be like candles!.

Then put the bulbs in you're oven (yes oven!) for half an hour on 50degrees (don't worry they won't get hot enough to explode). This will harden the coating and they should last for years.

You can get the paint in all number of colours (although it does have to be red for brakes and so-on).

Here's a pic of the glass paint i use and also the numbers.

You can also use standard front indicator lenses trimmed to fit for the indicators, just slot them over the bulb and put the claer lense back on as normal, i suppose if you could get the red lense off a landrover and trim that you could use this for the brake lights aswell.
