harness mounting

Hi,

I,ve seen somewhere someone using a cross brace to fasten seat belt harnesses to.Can any one give me a clue where to get one,I dont want to mount on rear pillar i don,t think there strong enough.

You could buy a piece of cds tubing, make some substantial brackets and secure it to the rear hoop.
On a heavy frontal with two people in it may bend without some middle support tho.

I think you will have to use original kit frame,like the engine mounting frame cross bar,or add another bar to the rear facing cage.the proper mini harness bar will never fit.

If you search my thread on my old build you will see a harness bar made from 38-40mm cds roll cage tube. it was mounted across the main hoop and secured by clamps.

Ps im doing the same mod again to the new car so i may improve the idea a little, i will keep you posted
