Wow what can I say? 10 years since my last post/update!

Well the Mini is now finished, it did take 8 months in my mate workshop, a few changes were made from the original idea. So here’s what’s gone on after welding on the front end:
New A posts left and right
Drivers side floor, inner and outer sill
Subframe panels left & right
Boot repair panels left & right
Boot hinge panel
Rear valance
Rear wheel arch assemblies left & right
Passenger side rear 1/4
Inner and outer sill to 1st lip
Passenger front floor repair panel
Step repair panels left & right
Various brackets and small repairs

The car was taken back to bare metal, gravitex underneath, and the original Leyland White painted inside and out. All painted by me first time I’ve ever done it and really happy with the result.

Every window and door seal was replaced.
Both subframes media blasted and powder coated in satin red, all suspension is polybushed
Brakes, wheel bearings, radius arms, etc are all brand new

The engine is a 998 Stripped, cleaned, new gaskets, painted. Stage 1 kit fitted

Interior is still yet to be finished, but it has classic bucket seats, in black vinyl with white piping

Sailed through its MOT

Pictures to follow
