I replaced both of mine when I replaced the fenders (wings). It was still a lot of work, but I don't see how you would be able to do it with the wings in place. Probably it's possible, but it would be a real chore. Plus the edge on the door side has to be folded over like a door panel. This is something that you could very easily screw up if you've never done it before.

Have a look at my project " flame red" i replaced the "a" panel on both sides , if you need it i can write up a full "how to " :)
