and most racers have a spare engine, and have a mid season rebuild!!!!

its amazing just how much a full race spec engine is worth...
and this isnt even high end motor racing, this is budget.....

one word i'd never use to describe miglia racing is budget!....lol
that whole reason the mighty minis started, because miglias were getting so expensive.

well i'd say that no racing is cheap, but i think the mighty mini's are pretty cheap as they a fairly standard and aren't allowed many mods, if you want more mods go up to super mighty minis.
you fairly often see mighty minis cars for sale in the mini mags, i think from memory they go for around £2-3,000, so thats not to bad to get into racing.

yeh id love to get into mighty minis, or even extreme mighty minis, just the time and the money i guess...

Mighty minis are basically spi coopers, if you look at the regs, there's very little you can do to it mechanically, even suspension tweaks are limited...
which makes for very close racing and cheap, relatively speaking, racing... Must admit the thought has crossed the minds of a few in the local mini club about pitching in and putting in for it... just were all a bit skint !!!

And swiftune are the best! No doubt.
Although I had to spend £3449 with em to get what I wanted.
